For the first time in five years, the Redskins are actually competitive as the end of the regular season approaches. With two games remaining, the 'Skins are locked in a three-way tie with the Giants and Cowboys for first place in the NFC East.
If Washington was to win the division, it would be guaranteed a home playoff game (they haven't had one of those since 1999). That being said, tickets for that potential Wild Card home playoff game will go on sale to the general public Dec. 29.
Season ticket holders, however, will get the first chance to score tickets; the deadline to reserve tickets is Dec. 27. There are two options of payment to choose from: "Pay When We Are In" and "Pay In Full," which are detailed below:
Season ticket holders that choose the Pay-When-We-Are-In (credit card only) option can reserve their seats by logging into www.Redskins.com/MyAccount (using their Redskins Account ID and PIN/password) and following the prompts.
When signing up for the Pay-When-We-Are-In plan, the credit card submitted will be automatically charged within 48 hours of when it is determined that the Redskins will host a home playoff game at FedExField. All reservations are final; no refunds or exchanges. However, if the Redskins do not host a playoff game, credit cards will not be charged.
Season ticket holders that select the Pay In Full (check or money order) plan can send the full payment for their invoice by check or money order. For those fans that select this option, they must pay the full invoice amount by the Dec. 27 deadline.
To Pay In Full, fans must return the lower portion of their invoice with a check or money order made payable to the Washington Redskins. Please allow three-to-four days for delivery via mail. No refunds or exchanges. However, if the Redskins do not host a playoff game, season ticket holders who select this option will receive a credit toward the 2013 season ticket invoice.
The game itself will take place either Jan. 5 or Jan. 6.
