Police are looking for the man who sexually assaulted a woman at gunpoint Tuesday morning in Northeast.
The victim was walking in the 4400 block of Gault Place NE around 6:40 a.m. when the man rode up on a mountain bike and pulled out a gun. He then forced her into the back of a vacant house and sexually assaulted her, police said.
The woman was able to flee from her attacker.
Police described the man as black, in his early 20s, clean-shaven, about 5'6", with a cut under his left eye. He had shoulder-length dreadlocks and was wearing a black coat with a red symbol on front.
Police are investigating to see if this assault is related to a recent nearby assault of a juvenile, but they have not yet connected the two cases.
