Prince George's County Police officers are investigating a home invasion in the 9100 block of Loughran Road in Fort Washington.
According to police, multiple suspects entered the home around 2 a.m. and announced they were robbing the vicitms.
The suspects demanded money and jewelry. When a male resident confronted the suspects, he was shot in the back. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspects fled the scene.
