Police in the District are looking for the gunmen in two separate fatal shootings that happened about two hours apart early Saturday morning.
The first happened at around 1:30 a.m. in the 1900 block of 9th Street Northwest, just blocks from the Shaw Metro Station. Residents tell News4’s Derrick Ward they heard more than 10 shots fired. When police arrived they found a man shot in the head. They are searching for two armed black men who may be wearing masks.
The second shooting happened in the 300 block of Livingston Terrace in Southeast at around 3:15 a.m. Again, police found a man shot in the head. That case is also being investigated as a homicide. There are no details however on what the gunman may have looked like or what led to the shooting.
