Two people died in a two-car collision in Prince George's County Monday.
It happened shortly before 11 a.m. in the 10800 block of Lanham Severn Road in Glenn Dale.
Three people were traveling eastbound in a Honda when the car veered into oncoming traffic and was T-boned by a westbound Audi.
At least one person was ejected in the crash. Both of the deceased victims were passengers in the Honda.
Both drivers had non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash investigation is ongoing. Police are investigating weather snowy roads or speed factored in the crash, News4 Prince George's County Bureau Chief Tracee Wilkins reported. Witnesses told News4 that the Audi was traveling at a high rate of speed.
Ron McGraw and Ali Nezir, who work in auto body shops on opposite sides of the road say they've seen accidents on the road involving vehicles speeding for position as two lanes become one, but they'd never seen one this bad, Wilkins reported.
