Fairfax County Police released frightening video Tuesday showing a woman being held up at an ATM by a man with a shotgun.
It happened at 8:45 p.m. Sunday in the 8300 block of Greensboro Drive near Tysons Corner.
The victim, a 37-year-old woman, was in a Bank of America ATM vestibule when she was approached by a man welding a shotgun who demanded money.
She gave him cash and her handbag. He fled in a dark-colored, older SUV, possibly a Honda CR-V, with a roof rack and exterior spare tire. The vehicle had Virginia license plates, but the victim was unable to get a tag number.
The suspect was dressed in dark colors and had his face covered.
"That's frightening," said Michelle Baltimore, who often shops in the area.
