A man stabbed another man in Glen Burnie Sunday after accusing him of damaging his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, according to authorities in Anne Arundel County.
A 50-year-old man was in the parking lot of Crossroads Tavern in the 7300 block of Ritchie Highway about midnight when a man leaving the bar saw the 50-year-old near his bike, authorities said. He accused the 50-year-old of damaged the bike and stabbed before fleeing on the bike.
The motorcycle crashed near Birch and Magnolia avenues, and officers recovered the weapon they believe was used at the scene of the crash.
Brian Scott Smith, 45, was charged with attempted second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and DWI offenses.
The 50-year-old victim was taken to Shock Trauma with serious injuries.
