17-Year-Old Shot and Killed in Southeast D.C.

A 17-year-old was shot and killed early Sunday morning in the District.

Police responded to the 2700 block of Langston Place in Southeast, near the intersection with Ainger Place, Southeast, shortly after 12:30 a.m. They found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound, not breathing and not responsive. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim's name hasn't been released.

Police have not made any arrests in the case; however, D.C. Police tweeted that they were on the lookout for a 19-year-old man with dark skin who was last seen wearing a plaid vest and blue jeans and armed with a handgun.
