Tuesday, the D.C. Council presented Nationals manager Davey Johnson and outfielder Bryce Harper with a ceremonial resolution.
From what I've surmised, it's a way to honor and recognize someone for outstanding service. I think the Nationals qualify. Well, except for Friday's game.
I won't bore you with the details, but our Mark Segraves is downtown at the meeting and his tweets depict the childish excitement of our city representatives better than I ever could.
