Virginia Attorney General and Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli has disclosed several additional gifts, including flights and vacation lodgings worth thousands of dollars, that he says he overlooked in his required disclosure forms.
Four of the six gifts disclosed Friday were from a troubled Virginia maker of nutritional supplements and its chief executive officer, Jonnie Williams. Among the newly reported gifts were two vacation stays at Williams' Smith Mountain Lake home. One trip was valued at $3,000, another at $1,500.
Cuccinelli said he discovered the oversights during the past week after the release of income tax forms for the past eight years jogged his memory. The amended statements of economic interest cover the years 2009 through 2012.
