D.C. police are investigating a double shooting that left one person dead Wednesday morning in Northeast.
It happened shortly before 8 a.m. in the 1200 block of Raum Street off of Trinidad Avenue. Police arrived to find one victim fatally wounded. Another victim was found a block away on Simms Street. That person was wounded in the leg and is expected to survive.
Police Chief Cathy Lanier told News4’s Tony Tull that police believe they know who is responsible for the shooting.
