An 8-by-10-foot sinkhole complicated Wednesday morning traffic in Reston.
The sinkhole opened up on Lawyers Road due to a water main break. Westbound traffic is being detoured to Steeplechase Drive; one eastbound lane is open.
The disruptions expected to last several hours, Fairfax County authorities said.
