Howard County police arrested and charged a teenage couple in the stabbing death of the girl's father in Ellicott City.
Dennis Lane was found stabbed to death inside his home on Winding Ross Way early Friday morning, police said.
Morgan Arnold, 14 and 19-year-old Jason Bulmer have been charged with first- and second-degree murder. Police said Arnold, who was charged as an adult is the victim's daughter. They believe she and Bulmer discussed killing Lane over the past two months.
Another person inside the house called police, police said.
Officers said they found Bulmer with blood on his hands and clothes. He and Arnold were both in the house when officers arrived.
Police said it is still unclear why the teens killed Lane.
