A Virginia man was sentenced to 78 months imprisonment to be followed by a lifetime of supervised release Friday after pleading guilty to receiving child pornography.
Blake David Coleman O'Gara, 30, of Ashburn, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Alexandria by Judge T.S. Ellis III.
Prosecutors alleged that O'Gara downloaded explicit images and videos from various websites and a peer-to-peer file sharing program for two years starting in October 2010. A search warrant executed in October of 2012 revealed more than 600 images and videos of child pornography on O'Gara's computers.
O'Gara was arrested following an investigation by the FBI Washington Field Offices Child Exploitation Task Force.
