Following an extensive investigation, police in Arlington say they've arrested three northern Virginia teenagers.
The teens are accused of shooting at least 250 vehicles with BB guns over the past several months. Investigators said the incidents involved windows shot out. In one case, the vandals also took an item from a vehicle, according to police.
The vehicles spanned across Fairfax and Arlington counties and may have even involved some cars in West Virginia. Police vehicles are among the vandalized.
All three suspects are from Arlington. Alexander Chase, 19, and Ricardo Reynoso Jr., 18, are each charged with felony destruction of property. William Romero, 18, is facing grand larceny charges.
Police said they do expect to make other arrests in these cases.
