A section of Interstate 95 in Virginia is expected to be shut down at least until noon Friday, authorities say.
All southbound lanes are closed near mile marker 133 in Stafford County due to a crash between two tractor-trailers, which happened around 5 a.m.
Neither driver was injured, but one vehicle was carrying barrels of an organic corrosive liquid. Several fell into the roadway and at least one spilled, authorities said.
Southbound traffic is being diverted at Exit 133 to southbound Route 17 Business, and then onto southbound Route 1. Drivers can get back to southbound I-95 at Exit 130/Route 3 or Exit 126/Spotsylvania, VDOT said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
