A 50-year-old ex-con and part-time minister -- who said he was on a 10-day crack binge -- was sentenced Friday to 60 years in prison for a violent carjacking.

Henry Sanders' victim was a Holocaust survivor who said his attack gave him flashbacks of when he was nine years old, and the Nazis came to his family's apartment in Denmark, reported News4's Jackie Bensen.

"There's no way I can forgive it," said victim Gustav Goldberger, now 79. "There is nothing to forgive. He did it. It's too late."

Sanders attacked Goldberger in the parking lot of a Target store in Wheaton, Md. on Nov. 27, 2011. Sanders drove Goldberger to 3 ATMs and forced him to withdraw money.

Goldberger was beaten and bruised in the attack.

Marvin Sanders, Henry's brother, pleaded with the court during the hearing. "We tell the families [of the victims] that we love them, that we hope they can forgive our brother," Marvin Sanders said. "Because we know that's not him."

But the judge was not lienient. "You are beyond redemption," the judge said to Sanders as he was sentenced.

Police believe Sanders could be responsible for at least two other carjackings in Montgomery County.
