Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal single-car accident that happened on Interstate 95 Saturday morning.
VSP spokesperson Corinne Geller said that the accident happened shortly before 6 a.m. at the 164-mile marker. A Honda sedan was traveling south when it ran off the right side of the highway and overturned.
Geller said that a male passenger in the front seat was thrown from the car and was taken to Potomac Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver and a second passenger were not injured.
