Officials say no one was injured when a trash train derailed outside Baltimore Friday evening.

Baltimore County Fire crews responded to the derailment near Hammonds Ferry Road and Elizabeth Avenue in Lansdowne, Md. just before 8 p.m.

The incident is being handled by CSX. The derailment did not result in an explosion or any kind of hazard, although between 15 and 20 cars derailed.

Just last month, a train derailed when it collided with a trash truck in the Rosedale section of Baltimore County. In that incident, one man was seriously injured, and buildings near the tracks suffered extensive damage due to a large explosion.

A joint investigation between CSX and the National Transportation Safety Board is underway.
