Prince George's County police are searching for the woman whose SUV collided with a minivan Wednesday night, killing a 7-year-old girl.
The accident happened in the intersection of St. Barnabas Road and Temple Hills Road in Temple Hills around 10 p.m. Police say the driver of the SUV fled the scene on foot.
An adult female and two juveniles in the minivan were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries while an adult male in the SUV suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The 7-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital. Everyone else is expected to be okay.
The northbound lanes of St. Barnabas Road at Temple Hills Road reopened just after 2 a.m.
