A gunshot victim found just before 1:30 a.m. Monday morning succumbed to his injuries, police said.
According to officials, crews responded to a shooting in the 700 block of 12th Street SE. There, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Tywayne Thompson, 25, was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
