A Manassas, Va., woman was charged with felony child neglect after her son was found walking on a sidewalk alone Monday night.
Elizabeth Ashley Winfrey, 25, was arrested after another woman found Winfrey's three-year-old son in the 10500 block of Winfield Place and called police around 8:15 p.m.
The boy was able to lead officers back to his home, where Winfrey was found unresponsive and intoxicated, authorities said.
She was arrested and is being held on a $10,000 bond. Winfrey's court date is unknown at this time.
The boy was unsupervised for about 45 minutes, police said. He was not hurt.
