A Fairfax swim instructor has been charged with aggravated sexual battery following allegations he inappropriately touched a 7-year-old girl.
Police say they received a complaint from the girl's mother on July 3, claiming 23-year-old Eduardo Requejo had inappropriately touched her daughter on several occasions.
Requejo turned himself in to police, and on Monday, he was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery.
Requejo has worked as a swim coach at the Oak Marr Recreation Center in Fairfax since 2005. The victim was not one of his students, authorities add.
Investigators believe this is an isolated incident but urge anyone with information on Requejo to call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.
