Two D.C. women who missed out on Inaugural Ball tickets following last week's Ticketmaster snafu will still get to dress up and dance on inauguration night.

The organizers of Positive Business Women saw News4’s story featuring Kim Campbell and LaDale Johnson. For weeks both women planned to log on and get tickets to the official Inaugural Ball. But when Ticketmaster mistakenly put the tickets on sale the night before they were scheduled to be available, Campbell and Johnson logged on to find them sold out.

On Thursday, Toni Dickerson, assistant executive director of Positive Business Women, called both women with an alternative to the official inaugural ball.

"We wanted to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to you all to join us at the Victory Inaugural Ball," Dickerson told both women over the phone. "We would love for you to be our guests ... because we couldn't imagine how your hearts sank because you realized you could not get tickets to the Inaugural Ball."

The group is giving each woman two complimentary general admission tickets. The tickets normally cost $200 each. Both Johnson and Campbell plan to attend.

After accepting the invite, Campbell told NBCWashington.com, "I've got to go find a dress."

She went on to say she's happy to "still participate in an inaugural event."
