Buzzer-beaters haven't endeared themselves to anybody around these parts lately.
Monday, the Sacramento Kings sunk the Wizards on an Isiah Thomas floater with one second left.
Wednesday, the Terrapins felt the pain of a last-second 73-71 loss to Florida State.
Forgive me for sounding insensitive, but Maryland shot -- no pun intended -- itself in the foot. Michael Snaer has proven to be a clutch shooter throughout his ACC career (not to mention that he just hit a game-winner last Thursday to beat Clemson), so it only makes sense to have the entire team collapse on Ian Miller in the paint, leaving Snaer wide open for the three, right?
The loss dropped the Terps to 3-5 in the ACC.
