Despite fears earlier last month that it would become a victim of the sequester, the 135th annual White House Easter Egg Roll will proceed as planned Monday on the South Lawn of the Executive Mansion.

The White House released the full guest list Friday, and it is as star-studded as could be expected. Among the celebrities due to show up are British boy band The Wanted, Academy Award-nominated actress Quvenzhane Wallis ("Beasts of the Southern Wild"), singer Jordin Sparks, NASCAR driver Danica Patrick and Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.

A crowd of 35,000 people representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia and including a number of military families are expected. Tickets were distributed via an online lottery earlier this month.

The event will also aim teach kids fun ways to stay fit, in keeping with this year's theme "Be Healthy, Be Active, Be You!" Among the special features will be a yoga garden for children.

The weather is not expected to be a problem, as the forecast for Monday calls for sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s.

This year's souvenir Easter eggs will come in purple, blue, yellow, and pink. There will also be a special teal egg available bearing the paw print of the Obama family dog, Bo.
