Two men were found guilty on several charges related to a series of Metro robberies and attacks.

On September 21, 2012, Alazajuan Gray, 20, and Clifton Smith, 21, robbed a college student at gunpoint on a Metro train leaving the Fort Totten station. A week later, they assaulted the same student after chasing him into the same station's kiosk. They were caught a short time after the assault.

Police found an iPhone linked to a September 2012 robbery at the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro station near where Smith was stopped.

The duo was found guilty of armed robbery, robbery, obstruction of justice, threats, contempt of court, carrying a dangerous weapon and other charges.

Gray and Smith face a maximum of 33 years in prison each for the September 2012 robberies. They could be sentenced to additional time for the other charges.
