3 Md. Men Arrested for Selling Counterfeit Merchandise

Three Maryland men are facing counterfeiting charges after a raid by Delaware State Police turned up over 1,200 items of counterfeit merchandise being sold out of a wireless business.

Troopers raided the Source 1 Wireless business at 11457 Commercial Lane in Laurel, Del. on Friday and arrested Eitezaz Shauket, 32, of Salisbury, and 28-year-old Zarar Shauket and 20-year-old Shane McAllister, both of Delmar.

Zarar and Eitezaz Shauket were charged with 22 combined counts of felony and misdemeanor trademark counterfeiting, second-degree conspiracy, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were arraigned and released on $14,500 unsecured bond. Shane McAllister was charged with felony trademark counterfeiting and conspiracy second degree and released on $2,000 unsecured bond.

Delaware State Police say that approximately 1,252 items of counterfeit merchandise branded Polo, Coach, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Reebok, and Tory Birch and valued at over $100,000 were seized. NBA and NFL replica jerseys were also among the items seized. 16 grams of marijuana and $1,468 in cash were also taken from the business.

The investigation is ongoing.
